Thank to all for a wonderful Advent and Christmas. Thanks to the Liturgy Team for their hard work planning and helping our liturgies to "come alive."
We enter into Ordinary Time for eight weeks. However, on February 2, we remember that 40 days have passed since we celebrated the joyful feast of the Nativity of the Lord. It is the day to recall when Jesus was presented in the Temple by Mary and Joseph. Outwardly he was fulfilling the law, but in reality, he was coming to meet his believing people.
This is also the Jubiliee Year 2025. We will begin discussing what events, liturgies, etc. we might host to honor it.
Lent will begin on March 5 (Ash Wednesday). The Lituragy Team will meet in February to begin planning for Lent.
